Mike Bruns receiving The Florence M. Howard Leadership Award at the Annual Sports Ball Fundraiser
A national organization with a Memphis chapter, BBBS mentors about 500 children per year by teaming up adults with children who have only one parent or no parent at all. Statistics prove that having a “big brother” or “big sister” has dramatic effects on young children’s ability to be more productive and gain confidence and self-esteem. The program works, and Memphis has become the fastest growing agency in the country.

Mike Bruns has served on the Board of Directors since 1995 and has been an important advisor to this outstanding nonprofit organization. Additionally, in order for BBBS to handle this phenomenal growth, Comtrak has donated computer hardware, software, expertise, and time to insure each child is tracked and cared for.
