Comtrak Logistics is very proud to have customers who represent the leaders within their particular industries, just as Comtrak is in the transportation field. The wide range of the customers’ businesses is also a reflection of the broad base of transportation and logistical services that Comtrak offers. It is Comtrak’s objective to establish long and professional partnerships with each customer and to continually work together to lower costs through efficiencies created
with the relationship. Quick “deals” with no handshakes have never been a part of Comtrak’s culture. We’ve always been concerned with measuring our “length of relationship” versus our “length of haul”, and we could not be more proud of just how long they are.
Comtrak represents the largest and most successful Intermodal Marketing Companies (IMC’S) in the intermodal drayage segment of our business. Long term partnerships have been established and have been successful for years. We have always been proud to be an extension of their services since the very first day Comtrak opened for business.
Comtrak is also an extension of the largest truckload carriers in the country providing rail drayage as well as truckload transportation
such as Schneider National, a top 10 customer for many years.
Maersk, P&O-Nedlloyd, and a longstanding relationship throughout the Southeast with APL (American President Lines) are among the top 10 steamship lines serviced by Comtrak. Additionally, every major Class I railroad has considered Comtrak a business partner for years, including providing third party outsourcing of business solutions for Freightwise, a BNSF e-commerce company.
While the list of Fortune 500 companies that Comtrak works for are too numerous to mention, the list includes SLS, the transportation arm for
Sears. Goodyear Tire and Rubber has been a top 10 customer since 1983, while ConAgra, Buckeye Cellulose, Quaker Oats, FedEx
Supply Chain Services, Carrier Air, TBC and Ashley Furniture each
represent the type of first class companies for which
Comtrak works.
Below are a couple of folks who have chosen to "brag"
about Comtrak and our partnerships. We hope you get a chance to contact them or others who have always been the best sales force our company will ever have.
"Our relationship started with Comtrak handling our domestic intermodal movements and has now grown to include our international business as well. This expansion has been a tribute to the service they have provided in addition to the flexibility they have for our needs, sometimes at a moments notice. The “single source” approach has given us the efficiency we have needed at our manufacturing plants as well as bottom line profit for Ashley Furniture. I’m real proud of our partnership with
Comtrak."
