As a result of the
continued support and commitment to children in the
Shelby County (Memphis) public schools, Comtrak has
become a PTA Life Member. Each year Comtrak donates trucks, trailers and drivers to
pick up “Kids Kan”, the local food drive that
generates almost a half million pounds of canned goods
collected by all the children in the community during
a single week. The food goes to feed the less
fortunate, and Comtrak trucks can be seen all over
picking up the food at over 42 schools within the
county. The drivers have come to look forward to this week, and
everyone at Comtrak is proud to have our trucks haul
the most important loads we deliver all year long.
