Comtrak is a leader in the single source solution for a variety of customers, both intermodal and highway. This is a result of our commitment, our expertise and our size.
As Comtrak has grown, so has our philosophy to service fewer customers with higher volumes to insure customer requirements
are met. Our focus has been, and will continue to be, to service the customers who have these large volumes but also have high demands on service. This concentration has given Comtrak leverage in the market place by providing these same customers with the lowest costs associated with moving their product, regardless of the mode of transportation they choose.
Single sourcing has allowed our customers to have their entire network of communication placed with us and has allowed us to fully understand their needs. While our customer base in this network is long, our largest single source customer, the BNSF Railroad, has tendered as many as 1,500 loads per week to a single point of contact at Comtrak. Our people, our trucks, our electronic communications and our vendors did the rest.
Now that same customer has single sourced their entire accessorial process for Comtrak to manage.
